Our largest fundraising event of the year, Bow Wow Brunch, is coming up on Sunday, April 30, 2023, and we have a great need for volunteers at this event. The various volunteer opportunities available during Bow Wow Brunch include set-up and unloading, puppy handlers, ballroom greeters and helping with the children’s experience, bid spotters helping during our live auction, selling Golden Raffle tickets, and clean up.

Another event we would love to have volunteers help out during is our monthly Puppy Yoga that we host at our new campus, the Arthur M. Blank Family Animal Center. We aren’t hosting Puppy Yoga in April because of Bow Wow Brunch, but our next Puppy Yoga will be during the week of May 15th (exact date to be announced soon). We typically need 3 volunteers from 5:30-8:30pm for Puppy Yoga to help with set up and sanitization of the floors for puppies, assist at check-in table/collect donations, wrangle puppies during the yoga class and clean up messes when they occur, and help with event breakdown.

The Spring Fling will be held on April 1st and is a fun spring festival and egg hunt for our camper families. It’s one of Camp Sunshine’s most popular events and takes place at the Camp Sunshine House in Decatur. Our parking lot will be filled with games, activities, craft stations, and more. And there’s a big egg hunt on the front lawn! If you are interested in learning more about volunteering to help at the Spring Fling on 4/1/2023,
Reach out to Alicia Brady at firstname.lastname@example.org or
