Small Grant Instructions + Application
(Grants of $5,000 or less)

Dear applicant,

We look forward to receiving your application. In order to make our review process more streamlined and efficient, please follow our instructions below to the best of your ability.   If you are applying for a Small Grant (up to $5,000), you are not eligible to apply for a Large Grant (up to $30,000) We are not accepting applications from organizations that have not been in operation for at least 2 years from the date of the application.  If you have received grants from us for the past 2 consecutive years you are not eligible to apply this year. Note that Small Grant applicants must have had a minimum of $100,000 and no more than $499,999 in annual revenues in 2020.

 

Application instructions:

 

A) To apply for a Small Grant online, you will need a gmail account. 

B) If you need help in creating a gmail account: How to Create a Gmail Account

C) In the application, enter your primary email to receive a completed copy. (This does not have to be a gmail address.)

D) You will be prompted at the end of the application form online to upload these financial and documentation files:

⦁ Current Certificate of 501(c)(3) status

⦁ Proof of registry of not-for-profit status with Georgia Secretary of State

⦁ The TWO most recent IRS Form 990’s that have been filed.

E) All uploaded files must be in PDF file format.

F) Please contact Sue Frankiewcz and Sissy Luciani at application@charityguild.org if you have questions regarding the application process.

 

G) We will begin accepting submissions at 1:00 pm on November 1, 2021.  We will consider the first nine (qualified and completed) Small Grant applications that we receive.  Please note that your application will not be eligible for the ballot until it is complete.
