A fun evening was had by all who attended the Charity Guild's first ever "Duplicate & Dessert" bridge fundraiser in October! We played a lot of bridge, enjoyed a silent auction and a 50-50 raffle while raising $3,600 dollars for this year's charities!
We couldn't have run the event without the help of Bridge Directors; Bill Marks of the Roswell Bridge Club and Doug Roberts of the Buckhead Bridge Club. Thank you both.
The winners of the Novice Duplicate group were: 1st Place: Barbara Flandreau with Marie Wood and 2nd Place: Ann Chapman and Diane Strong.
In the Intermediate group, 1st Place went to Patricia Callahan and Peggy Bridges and 2nd Place went to Ginger Bryant and Eileen Balsam. Congratulations ladies!
We appreciate all our donors, guests, neighbors and friends who have continued to support us in helping our charities and participating in this event. Once again we thank you for making our bridge fundraiser such a success.
CCS Britney Milam helped coordinate the evening and Chef Daniel Iammarino "wowed" us with a scrumptious chocolate & banana dessert. My special appreciation also goes to Suzanne Antinori for her help with the baskets and to Jan Alonso for helping to plan the event with me and for creating the Program Booklets. Barbara Flandreau and Marian Ross helped with the auction set-up. Jennifer Gabriel assisted with the Auction and handled the Auction Close-out with the help of Bruce Alonso, Louis Land and Bob Wood.
I love working with all of you! Without all of your help, we couldn't have done it.
