Dear visitor,
We are a non-profit 100 percent volunteer organization located in Alpharetta, GA that is dedicated to supporting the work
of outstanding local charities. The services provided by these caring organizations give individuals and families the opportunity
to meet unexpected challenges with hope for the future.
We invite you to visit the web page devoted to our 2008 charities so that you can see for yourself
why we are so excited by the proactive work they do in our Atlanta community.
You may be interested in knowing more about our organization, the Country Club of the South Charity Guild. We are
neighbors who have formed a Charity Guild and each year Guild members may sponsor charities in the metropolitan Atlanta
area to apply for grants from our fund. The applications which meet Guild qualifications are voted on by the members to
determine who will receive funds for the upcoming year.

Each year we also elect a Board of Directors to plan and execute our patron drive and events. There is
no scrambling for high positions. You usually become President because a majority of the nominating committee determine
it is "your" turn. It's not unusual to see a person take on the role of President one year, and the next year
turn up as the Silent Auction Basket Chairman or chief envelope stuffer.
We come from current positions or former backgrounds in Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Media, Banking,
Education and CarPool. What binds us together is the passion we have for the organizations we support. We hope some of this
passion is contagious and that as you browse through the site you will find an area to join us in our fundraising, whether
it's outright donations, purchasing tickets to events, or becoming a corporate sponsor.
In 2005, the CG voted to accept a limited number of outside members.
It is truly a privilege to raise money for these hard working charities that serve our Atlanta area community so well, and we invite you to join us in our work.
